Fun Homework

Tired of setting the usual homework tasks? Sick of “Write the answers to this exercise” or “Write a story about blah blah blah”? Here are a few home-do ideas. Even if they’re not appropriate for your sts, they might give you some ideas…

1.    Walk around your home with 30 post-it notes and a pen. Write labels (eg “fridge”, “plug”) for as many things as you can and stick them on the objects…
2.    …then get a friendly person to walk around rearranging all your labels randomly. Can you put them back in place?
3.    (Next day)…bring in all your labels and compare them with your colleagues’. How many things can you label in class with these?
