Online TEFL Courses: Grammar online: Unit 2 page 1... Help!

Hey guys

Have come to a complete standstill with this one... Can't seem to get past 51%!

Grammar Guru has told me to 'remember that words like "am, is and are" belong to the verb to "be"' but I'm still stuck on the not so obvious questions...

What am I doing wrong?! :(

Also, at what percentage will it allow you to move on?

I am struck on the same thing you are. I was wondering did you get passed it at all?
I tried all possible answers and none of them works.

for example:-

4. There are thirty-two kids in my class and most of them are stupid.

I can't seem to find an answer.

Sorry for the delay - have only just seen this

haha, I did eventually, I messaged GG & they replied 'remember words like am, are & is are the verbs for 'to be'... After all that haha, was there for ages trying to work it out!

Even after I corrected my errors it wouldn't let me on to the next stage so I had to close the page down & start over but got there in the end...

Where are you currently up to now?

I'm just about to start unit 1 assignment 2 on the online course - I was doing the grammar first but then decided it makes sense to do the grammer whilst waiting for my grades to come back.

I'm still stuck on the infinitive verb...it's giving me a headache.
I don't quite understand the 'remember words like am, are & is are the verbs for ' to be'. I am currently doing the 50 hour online unit 1 assignment 2, whilst I am also waiting for feedback.

I know! I was there forever trying to work it out but you just actually enter 'to be'

I think there are 2 others which aren't quite as easy & for the life of me I can't remember which ones.

I was stuck on this too. Learning about the verb "to be" doesn't come until the next lesson which is why I suffered so much confusion.
