ok when ur doing it first of all u have to know that adjectives describes a noun and adverbs describes verbs,adjectives and other adverbs.
examples

it's a beautiful day ... beautiful is an adjective describing the noun (day)
another way to say its that adj will always be next to a noun .

can u talk slowly please? .... slowly is the adverb describing the verb (talk) (describing how u have to talk)
another way adv will be next to a verb, adj or another adv, and as soon as u see that it ends in ly realize that its and adverb.
