Here are some activities I use with film clips:

Green Card:

1. Cover screen & pairs work out story by listening. SS tell story to rest of class.

Secrets & Lies:

2. Pairs watch without sound then try to make up the dialogue. SS say out loud.

Wallace & Gromit - A Close Shave:

3. All SS A’s watch screen without sound. All SS B’s listen without visual. Then pairs get together and make up the story. Pairs tell to rest of class.

Wallace & Gromit – The Wrong Trousers.

4. SS watch without sound and have to write everything they see. Highest amount wins.

5. Watch then memorising; put pictures in order telling the story.

6. Listing vocabulary and asking questions.
